On average there are enough fibers and carbon in the Elevated Air media to last 3 months so it will be changed 4 times a year. Exceptions would include having smokers in the house, more than three pets, and other variables that would cause the particle count to rise substantially. In these cases, we find that 6 times a year is the common frequency.
